Unless you have been notified that you are exempt to the state tournament, you must participate in one of the local/regional qualfiying tournaments.   You may only enter one regional qualifier.   Approximately the top 60 boys and 20 girls from all the regionals combined will qualify for the state tournament, which will be held in Greeley at Boomerang Links and Highland Hills on July 10 and July 11, 2008.   The number of players selected for the state tournament will depend on the total number participating in the qualifying tournaments.

June 9, Elmwood Golf Course, Pueblo

June 18, City Park Golf Course, Denver

June 19, Black Canyon Golf Club, Montrose

June 24, Highland Hills Golf Course, Greeley

The state tournament is held in Greeley, Colorado.    The first round is played at Boomerang Links on July 10, and the second round is played at Highland Hills on July 11.   The top 4 boys and top 2 girls from the two-day tournament will advance to the national tournament which is being held at the Country Club of North Carolina at Pinehurst August 2 - August 7, 2008.     Transportation from DIA on August 2  will be  provided for  players as well as payment of entry fees to the national tournament.     Housing for players is provided by host families.

All but the Days Inn are just off the Hwy. 34 Bypass at 23rd. Ave.   They are virtually across the street from the Greeley Mall which has a theater and several restaurants.   The Days Inn is about 15 blocks north of Boomerang and convenient to both golf courses as well.

Boomerang Links Golf Course,  7309 W. 4th. Street   970-351-8934.   Exit I-25 at the Greeley/Loveland Exit #257.   Go east to the Hwy. 34 business loop which becomes 10th. Street.    Turn left at 71st. Street.    Go to 4th. Street and turn left.    Turn right to the parking lot for the Outback Restaurant at Boomerang Links and the course.

Highland Hills Golf Course,  2200 Clubhouse Drive    970-330-7327.    Take exit 257 off I-25.    Stay on the Hwy 34 bypass to  47th. Avenue, turn left.    Go to 20th. Street and turn left.    The course entrance will be on your left at the water tower that resembles a golf ball on a tee.
