Unless you have been notified that you are exempt to the state tournament, you must participate in one of the local/regional qualfiying tournaments. You may only enter one regional qualifier. Approximately the top 60 boys and 20 girls from all the regionals combined will qualify for the state tournament, which will be held in Greeley at Boomerang Links and Highland Hills on July 8 and July 9, 2010. The number of players selected for the state tournament will depend on the total number participating in the qualifying tournaments.
The following regional/local qualifying tournaments have been set up.
June 4 - Highland Hills G.C., Greeley
June 11 - Black Canyon G.C., Montrose
June 15 - Elmwood Golf Course, Pueblo
June 16 - Common Ground G.C.
June 23 - City Park G.C., Denver
If you are interested in one of the above tournaments, go to the entry form page and click on the regional entry form, print it out, complete it and send it with your check to the address indicated. Do not send in state entry forms until you are notified you have qualified, or unless you have been notified you are an exempt player.
The state tournament is held in Greeley, Colorado. The first round will be played at Boomerang Links on July 8 and the second round will be played at Highland Hills on July 9. The top 3-4 boys and top 2 girls from the two-day tournament will advance to the national tournament which is being held at The Olde York Country Club near Trenton, N.J. July 26-30, 2010. Transportation from Denver on July 24 or July 25 will be arranged for players as well as payment of entry fees to the national tournament. Airfare from other Colorado airports will be limited to the airfare from Denver. Housing for players is provided by host families. A player who qualifies for the national tournament must register in person at the national tournament by 2PM July 26, 2010 to participate in the national tournament.

All are just off the Hwy. 34 Bypass at 23rd. Ave. They are virtually across the street from the Greeley Mall which has a theater and several restaurants.
Boomerang Links Golf Course, 7309 W. 4th. Street 970-351-8934. Exit I-25 at the Greeley/Loveland Exit #257. Go east to the Hwy. 34 business loop which becomes 10th. Street. Turn left at 71st. Street. Go to 4th. Street and turn left. Turn right to the parking lot for the Outback Restaurant at Boomerang Links and the course. Because of heavy road construction on the Highway 34 business route, it is probably best to stay on the Highway 34 Bypass and turn left onto 71st. Go to 4th. and turn left as above.
Highland Hills Golf Course, 2200 Clubhouse Drive 970-330-7327. Take exit 257 off I-25. Stay on the Hwy 34 bypass to 47th. Avenue, turn left. Go to 20th. Street and turn left. The course entrance will be on your left at the water tower that resembles a golf ball on a tee. Or you can turn off Highway 34 at 71st or 59th. and go to 20th. Turn right to the golf course entrance on Clubhouse Drive as above.
