Final results of the 2008 State Championship
Players struggled with 100 degree temperatures for 2 days, but the leaders managed to post some incredible scores in the annual Big I Junior Classic held in Greeley. The first round was played at Boomerang Links on July 10, and the second round on Juy 11 was played at Highland Hills Golf Course. Advancing to the Big “I” national tournament at the Country Club of North Carolina at Pinehurst, North Carolina will be Nick Umholtz, Brendan Connolly, Wyndham Clark, and Ryan Hooks in the boys division and Bethany Buchner and Melissa Martin in the girls Division. Melissa Martin was a national qualifier in 2006 when the tournament was held at the Odessa Country Club in Odessa,Texas.
