Results of the 2009 tournament:
In a close match, David Oraee of Greeley won first place, Justin Mortensen of Alamosa won second place and Dominick Bregar of Pueblo won third place in the boys division. All three qualified for the Big I National Championship later this month; however David Oraee has a conflict with another tournament, so Andrew Cornella of Colorado Springs will fill his spot as first alternate. Gina Larson of Longmont won first and Loren Forney of Grand Junction won second and they will represent Colorado at the national championship tournament. Joining these five will be Bethany Buchner of Loveland, Nick Umholtz from Greeley and Brendan Connolly of Castle Rock all with exemptions to the national tournament.
